Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inspected the preparations and development works of Simhastha-2028 in Ujjain. He informed about the government's schemes regarding water conservation campaign, Shramdaan on Ganga Dussehra and facilities for devotees.

Bhopal/Ujjain. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inspected the ongoing development works in Ujjain on May 15 as part of the preparations for Simhastha-2028. During this, he took stock of the road widening and construction works being done at Ramghat. The Chief Minister said that the state government is doing development work with complete planning and vision, so that in the coming times, both Ujjain city and the devotees coming here can get its benefits. He said that the government is constantly keeping a close eye on every project.

Collective labor donation will be done in the entire state on Ganga Dussehra

While talking to the media after inspecting the development works, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that on the occasion of Kshipra-Ganga Dussehra on June 30, a resolution has been taken for collective labor donation in the entire Madhya Pradesh. He said that a water conservation campaign will be run across the state through public participation on water sources like rivers, canals, wells, stepwells and ponds.

CM said that he is happy that Madhya Pradesh is among the leading states in the country in the field of water conservation. He said that recently while studying the data of Jal Shakti Ministry, information came to light that the state is continuously doing better work in this direction. He expressed hope that this achievement will continue in the coming times also.

Preparation to further strengthen water conservation campaign

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that “Water is life” and with this thinking, the tradition of celebrating Kshipra Parikrama and Ganga Dussehra from Ramghat was started years ago. He expressed confidence that the Ganga Dashami Parikrama to be organized this year will also be completed with full pride and reverence. He said that on the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government is giving priority to works related to water structures and water conservation. In the coming time, these schemes will be taken forward in a more effective manner.

Facilities for devotees and public are being increased in Ujjain.

CM Dr. Yadav said that along with development works, the government is also continuously working on improving public facilities. He said that all the projects are being monitored regularly, so that the benefits of these construction works can be availed for a long time.

The Chief Minister said that Ujjain is not only a city of historical but also of mythological importance. Praising the public representatives, administration and the public, he said that everyone is working together with devotion and dedication. Describing himself as the head of the state and the MLA of Ujjain, he congratulated everyone and expressed pride in this collective effort.
