TV legend Graham Norton has shared that his swanky home won't sell as he admitted: "I'm the problem." The Irish presenter put his Wapping, London, riverside home on the market in May 2025 and a year on it still hasn't sold.
Speaking on The Capital Evening Show with Jimmy Hill, where he was promotinghis new ITV show The Neighbourhood, Graham admitted: "Now I have to be careful here. Full disclosure when we did the show last year, I did some early press for it and obviously we were talking about your neighbours. Now my house was for sale, so I thought 'I'll be long gone by the time this comes out.' So, I was a bit gobby about my neighbours. Yeah, house hasn't sold."
Jimmy pointed out: "So that may have come back and bit you a little bit." Graham laughed as he joked that there's a residents' association meeting coming up soon and he "won't be going".
Speaking about what his neighbours are actually like, he then added: "No they are lovely! Actually, they couldn't be nicer. It's me, I'm the problem!"
Graham embarked on a spending spree in the early 2000s, splashing the cash on a home in New York in 2002, followed by a townhouse in London's docklands and a charming rural retreat in west Cork a year later.
Both the New York and London properties have since been placed on the market - though the London home is yet to find a buyer.
Situated on the banks of the Thames, the former customs office of the London Dock Company boasts access to a beach, which emerges twice daily at low tide.
Spanning four floors, the four-bedroom, five-bathroom Georgian townhouse retains all the quintessential period features of its era, including sash windows framed by stripped window boxes and shutters, impressive ceiling heights and open fireplaces.
The 3,701sq ft residence is refined and decorated in a classically contemporary style. Its expansive open-plan living space features vaulted ceilings, sweeping river views and direct access to the rear garden. The lower level comprises a shower room, a generously proportioned storage room and a lounge.
The sizeable riverside garden is owned and meticulously maintained by the residents' management company. The property is listed through estate agents Knight Frank with a guide price of £4,950,000.
Listen to The Capital Evening Show with Jimmy Hill on Monday to Thursday from 7pm to 10pm across the UK and on Global Player.
