However, if ghee is heated repeatedly on very high flame, it can be harmful for the body. In such a situation, it is very important to use ghee in the right quantity and in the right way.

Experts say that ghee should be consumed only in small quantities. For example, it is better to eat only 1 or 2 spoons of desi ghee a day. Eat it by applying it on roti or by shallow frying it…it is considered safe to use in both the cases.
