The Indian cricket team, which won the World Cup, has maintained its dominance in the world of cricket. ICC has retained the first position in the recently released T20 International rankings. While once great teams England and Australia are at second and third place respectively. The Indian team has won the T20 World Cup twice. It has won the world title three times so far.

ICC has updated it on its website. The latest ranking has been declared on the basis of 100 percent performance in all the matches played after May 2025 and 50 percent performance in the matches played in the last two years. India is on top with 275 points, while England is at second place with 262 points. Australia is in third place with 258 points.

Dominance continues in the last two years
The Indian team is at first place in the T20 rankings. Because the Indian team has performed tremendously in T20 cricket in the last two years. The Indian team has won the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 and World Cup 2026. India has also won all the T20 series played between these two T20 World Cups. There is no change in the positions of the top seven teams in the latest T20 rankings. In the T20 rankings, New Zealand is fourth (247 points), South Africa is fifth (244 points), Pakistan is sixth (240) and West Indies is seventh (233 points).

Bangladesh will benefit…
Bangladesh team has gained one point in the latest rankings. Currently Bangladesh team is at eighth position. Whereas Sri Lanka has lost 6 points and has come to a new position. Afghanistan team is in 10th place with 220 points.

USA jumps, Italy surprises
United States of America i.e. USA cricket team has gained six points and has come to 13th position. On the other hand, Italy has surprised everyone with its brilliant performance. They have moved from 26th to 23rd with 11 points. The special thing is that they defeated Nepal by 10 wickets in their first match of ICC T20 World Cup.
