New Delhi: Veteran Tamil producer RB Choudary passed away in a car accident near Udaipur on Tuesday (May 5). Several A-listers from the Tamil film industry, including Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi and others, have mourned the death of the producer. His mortal remains are expected to be brought to Chennai on Wednesday (May 6).

The late producer’s team confirmed the death in a statement which read, “Deeply saddened to hear that legendary film producer RB Choudary sir (Super Good Films) has passed away in a tragic car accident in Udaipur just now. His immense contribution to Indian cinema, especially through decades of memorable films, will always be remembered. This is an irreplaceable loss to the film fraternity. Deepest condolences to his family and dear ones. May his soul rest in peace.”

Megastar Rajinikanth mourned the death of RB Choudhary and wrote on X, “My dear friend, Super Good Films R.B. Choudhary is a top-notch producer. A wonderful human being. He has given opportunities to countless young directors and kept the film world alive. His untimely death news has left me in great shock and immense sorrow. My deepest condolences to his family. May his soul rest in peace.”

Sharing his condolences, Pawan Kalyan wrote, “The demise of renowned producer and Super Good Films head Shri RB Chowdary Garu has left me stunned. I cannot believe the tragic news that Shri Chowdary Garu met with a fatal end in a road accident near Udaipur in Rajasthan. I pray to God that his soul attains peace.”
