Police Vacancy: Here is a fantastic opportunity to join the police force. The Andaman and Nicobar Police has released a recruitment notification for Group-B (Non-Gazetted) and Group-C posts for the year 2026. Under this initiative, a total of 495 vacancies have been announced. This recruitment covers positions such as Sub-Inspector, Constable, Radio Operator, Radio Technician, Fireman, and various 'Follower' posts. The age limit has been prescribed differently for each post; generally, the maximum age ranges from 18 to 30 years, although for certain specific posts, this limit may extend up to 33 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will also be granted age relaxation in accordance with government regulations.

What is the Selection Process?
The selection process will commence with a Physical Measurement and Endurance Test (PM&ET), which will be of a qualifying nature. This will be followed by a written examination, comprising objective-type questions, wherein a negative marking of 0.25 marks will also be applicable. For certain posts, a Trade or Skill Test will also be conducted. Finally, a merit list will be prepared following the document verification and medical examination.
