The Odyssey director Christopher Nolan has spoken exclusively about his upcoming film in a latest interview.
The Oscar-winning director is widely known for making blockbuster films namely Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises, Interstellar and many more.
In 2026, he is once again bringing in his much-anticipated film The Odysseywhich is Greek epic based on Homer’s poem of the same name.
Following the success of his last film Oppenheimer that won seven Academy Awards, Nolan is looking forward to rule the box office with his next big release.
While talking about The Odyssey with AP Newsthe 55-year-old director said that the film is going to have a slightly shorter runtime than Oppenheimer.
“It’s an epic film, as the subject matter demands. But it is shorter”, said the British American filmmaker.
Led by Cillian Murphy, the 2023 was partially shot on IMAX cameras. So far, three hours is the longest runtime they have been able to get on IMAX projectors.
The Odyssey is the first-ever film in Hollywood to be shot entirely on IMAX cameras, hence, the technicalities might have shortened the screening time.
Nolan’s forthcoming magical film is slated to hit theatres on July 17. It carries an amazing ensemble cast including Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya and Robert Pattinson.
