Delhi. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday spoke to his Chinese counterpart Dong Jun on the sidelines of a multilateral conference in Bishkek. The two ministers are said to have reviewed the overall situation along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). “Pleased to speak to Chinese Defense Minister Admiral Dong Jun during the meeting of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Defense Ministers in Bishkek,” Singh said on social media.
No official information has been given yet about what issues were discussed between Singh and Dong. The Defense Minister also met his Russian counterpart Andrei Belousov. Singh said, “I had a good conversation with Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov during the SCO Defense Ministers’ meeting in Bishkek.” Singh had reached Kyrgyzstan’s capital Bishkek on Monday to attend the conference of Defense Ministers of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member countries.
