Actor-filmmaker Anshuman Jha has unveiled an ambitious six-film slate spanning 2026 to 2028, signalling a major expansion into global storytelling. The slate will be showcased at the Marché du Film during the Cannes Film Festival in May 2026.
The upcoming lineup includes
Om Ka Hari, directed by Harish Vyas, and
Lakadbaggha 2 : The Monkey Business, directed by Jha. The 2027 slate features
Bajrangi direted by Parth Saurabh and
Bhadyaa directed by Pramod Parashar. For 2028, the projects include
But First, The Burning by Devashish Makhija—an international co-production—and
Dhoori by Rumana Molla.
The slate cuts across genres, from intimate dramas to high-concept action, with a strong emphasis on director-led storytelling and international collaborations. Speaking about the milestone, Jha said the next decade will focus on amplifying authentic voices and backing stories that can travel globally without losing their cultural roots. Filmmakers associated with the projects highlighted the creative freedom and risk-taking approach behind the slate, pointing to a vision that prioritises originality and cross-border resonance.
