Indianna Carroll is making headlines after turning her NFL dream into reality by joining the cheer squad of the Las Vegas Raiders for the 2026-27 season. The daughter of NRL great Mark Carroll, she has carved her own path beyond rugby league roots. Indianna earned a spot with the Raiderettes, one of the NFL’s most recognized cheer teams, through talent, dedication, and years of hard work. Her achievement marks a proud moment for her family and highlights her journey from Australia to the global stage of American football entertainment.
Carroll, who spent a decade cheering with the Manly Sea Eagles’ Seabirds, revealed her selection on Tuesday through an Instagram story, captioning a photo of the Raiderettes squad with the words, "Honey, I’m home."
She later followed it up with an Instagram post, sharing a few photos from her arrival at the Raiderettes studio and writing, “I am officially a Las Vegas Raiderette.”
"My wildest dream has come true and evidently I’m still trying to find words that feel big enough for this moment," she wrote.
"For now, I stand incredibly proud and honoured to represent Australia in the Silver & Black. I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the @raiders organisation and experience firsthand the excellence and professionalism the @raiderettes represent globally."
Last year, Carroll came close to achieving her dream of joining the Dallas Cowboys cheer squad. She was one of 79 finalists from around the world to reach the final stages of auditions. However, despite making it deep into the selection process, she narrowly missed out - falling short at the same stage for the second consecutive year.
Her father, NRL legend Mark, couldn’t hide his pride, sharing an emotional message as he congratulated his daughter on her achievement.
"I couldn’t be prouder writing this about my beautiful daughter, Indianna. As a young child, her dream was always to cheer for an NFL side and I’m here to announce she has made the squad for the NFL Raiders," Carroll wrote on Instagram.
