One of Bhooth Bangla’s most important shooting spots is Chomu Palace in Jaipur, a 350-year-old fortified palace known for its regal architecture. Interestingly, the location also carries a nostalgic connection with Akshay Kumar’s career. A source close to the production told News9Live, “Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan returned to Chomu Palace to shoot for Bhooth Bangla.”

The palace had earlier served as a major filming location for the cult horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa, which starred Akshay Kumar nearly two decades ago.

Apart from the Chomu Palace, the team shot sequences across several iconic sites in Jaipur. These include Amer Palace, where filming took place near Surajpol Gate, Chandpol Gate and Ganesh Pol.

The production also utilised Galtaji Temple, popularly known as the “Monkey Temple”, an 18th-century pink sandstone complex known for its dramatic setting. Another location featured in the film is Sisodiya Rani Bagh, a historic garden palace built in 1728 along the Jaipur-Agra highway.

According to sources, certain sequences in Jaipur were filmed on carefully designed real sets that blended with the historic surroundings. Parts of the movie were shot at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, where the filmmakers constructed a massive palace set for key scenes, including portions of the climax.

In Mumbai, the production used Royal Palms in Goregaon, transforming the space into a haunted mansion with shadowy corridors and towering interiors to enhance the film’s spooky aesthetic. A source added, “The makers also shot some portion in Jaipur which was on real set. But the director shot some portion in Hyderabad and Mumbai which was on a set.”
