Chikkamagaluru: It is suspected that Shrinanda, the student from Kerala who came on a trip and was found dead in a 2,000-foot abyss near Manikya Dhara Falls, died by suicide after being pained by her father's advice not to "use the mobile phone too much."
The father reportedly scolded and advised his daughter, who was constantly using her mobile phone to make reels during the trip. It is suspected that Shrinanda jumped into the abyss because she was hurt by this. It is also being said that she spoke on her mobile with a friend for about 15 minutes just moments before falling from the cliff.
The police have taken the case seriously and are working to uncover the truth behind Shrinanda's death. A post-mortem was conducted by a team of expert doctors, and the entire process was video-recorded. The investigation needs to reveal whether Shrinanda died by suicide because she was hurt by her father’s angry advice or if there was some other reason.
