The petition requests the authorities to review his military band application and investigate whether any discrepancies were involved in his selection.
A statement from the report read, “Military band assignments require higher-level appropriateness reviews and risk management in terms of external trust and representativeness compared to general assignments. Considering the scale and impact of the controversy, there are significant concerns that it could lead to a sense of relative deprivation among service members and damage trust in the military’s fairness.”
They further stated that his involvement in the band, which is obligated to be the face of the military and attend many public appearances, should be reevaluated, considering recent controversies.
The authorities stand by their decision Although the petition was filed, a statement from the authorities clarified that the positions for all military joinees are decided based on unbiased and internal regulations. As of right now, there are no investigations into his position in the military band. There are also no talks about changing his position within the military, either.
However, he remains under investigation over the tax controversy.
