Abhay Grewal, known as ‘IITian Baba’, returned to his native village in Haryana’s Jhajjar district on Monday. Grewal, who rose to fame during the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj, arrived with his new bride, Preetika, an engineering graduate from Karnataka.

Abhay Grewal, IIT-Bombay alumnus and former aerospace engineer known as ‘IITian Baba’, returned to his native village in Haryana’s Jhajjar district on Monday. Grewal, who rose to fame during the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj, arrived with his new bride, Preetika, an engineering graduate from Karnataka.

Reports say Abhay and his wife came to Jhajjar to complete their bank KYC process. But the visit wasn't just a formality. He spoke to the media and openly shared his future plans. He spent some time in his father, Karn Singh Grewal's, chamber, where a long queue of people formed. 

Abhay revealed that his wife, Preetika, is from Bengaluru and they both think alike. He says they are now working together not just for their personal lives, but for a bigger purpose. This is why people see their marriage as the start of a new chapter, not just a personal decision.Abhay's biggest announcement was the plan to build 'Shri University'. He explained it won't be a regular university. It will blend modern education with spiritual knowledge. He believes today's education system is missing a spiritual side, and this university will fill that gap. Along with studies, it will teach meditation, sadhana, and the art of understanding life.

When asked about his family, Abhay mentioned that he will definitely meet his parents, but to achieve a bigger goal, one sometimes has to create a little distance from personal life. 

Abhay shared that he is currently living in Himachal Pradesh and working on his spiritual and educational projects from there. His entire focus is on making 'Shri University' a reality. IIT Baba Abhay's journey, which started in the crowds of Mahakumbh, has now reached a major mission. His marriage, the Jhajjar visit, and the university plan are all weaving a new story.
