Karan Johar has officially released the first look poster of his upcoming romantic drama film ‘Chand Mera Dil’. In this film, Ananya Pandey and Lakshya (Lakshya Lalwani) will be seen together on screen for the first time. Produced by Dharma Productions, the film promises a young, deep love story set against the backdrop of engineering college life, friendship and growing up experience.

On Monday, Johar shared a series of romantic posters on Instagram, featuring the lead pair Chandni (Ananya Panday) and Aarav (Lakshya). The photos capture close and carefree moments between them — sitting on the bed talking, being close to each other in a college classroom, and enjoying light, fun moments. Some heart-touching taglines are written on the posters, like:

– “Falling in love is easy; growing up is not.”

– “When life changes its syllabus.”

– “When love grows faster than life.”

Johar captioned the post: “Here is a love story where… life moves faster than love.” Earlier, they had excited fans by showing them a poster in which the pair was seen walking on the road. He had written, “There is no fixed path to love… you just have to be a little crazy! Let’s meet tomorrow at 11 am to meet our Aarav and Chandni!”

The filmmakers have also announced that the official teaser of the film will be released on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.

‘Chaand Mera Dil’ is directed by Vivek Soni (known for *Meenakshi Sundareshwar* and *Aap Jaisa Koi*), and co-produced by Karan Johar, Aadar Poonawala and Apoorva Mehta under the banner of Dharma Productions. It is described as an emotional, musical romantic drama that shows how young love finds its way amidst the pressure of studies, life changes and personal growth.

The film is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 22, 2026 (this date has been finalized recently, whereas it was earlier planned to be released in April, which was later postponed). Ananya Panday and Lakshya’s new pairing has already garnered a lot of buzz, and fans are eagerly waiting for the teaser and more details about this modern campus romance.
