As per Reserve Bank of India (RBI) holiday list, banks are closed every Sunday and second and fourth Saturday of the month. Banks remain closed throughout the country during this period. Bank holidays also vary from state to state depending on regional and national festivals. Banks will remain closed for four days next week, including Saturday and Sunday. Both bank holidays may vary by region.

All government banks will remain closed in Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram on December 9. This means banks will remain closed in Kerala on this day. Banks are on holiday due to the 2025 local government general elections. Apart from these two places, banks will remain open across the country on Tuesday. December 12 will be a bank holiday in Meghalaya. Banks will remain closed in Shillong on death anniversary of Pa Togan Nengminja Sangma. Banks across the country will operate as usual on Friday.
