WhatsApp storage gets full again and again. This is how you can solve the problem. The use of instant messaging app WhatsApp has increased now. Office, college, school, and even bank work is done through WhatsApp. Big files of office, photos, chat history of groups, everything starts becoming a burden on WhatsApp after some time. Due to this, the problem of phone hanging comes to the fore the most. Here we will tell you how you can empty your WhatsApp.
Follow these steps
The process is the same for both Android and iPhone users. There is no different way for different devices. The method we will tell you here will work on both devices.
For this, open WhatsApp on your smartphone. Click on the three dots shown on the right side. Click on the option of setting. After this go to storage and data. Click on the option of storage management. Sort, filter, and delete your data.
Now select the chat or channel here which you can delete and that is only taking up storage. After this click on Delete Item.
If you have many copies of any photo-video saved in your phone, then delete all the copies to make space. You will find the copy photos in the phone's settings. In which you can see and delete duplicate files.
Delete all the unnecessary media files from WhatsApp. This option will be found in the phone's gallery.
Delete the history of chats.
WhatsApp storage is also filled the most due to chat history. To clear this storage, you have to delete the chat history. For this, open the related chat. Click on the three dots shown on the right side. You can also go to the settings option in the chat. Now click on More. The option of Clear Chat History will be shown, click on it and delete the chat history.
Similarly, you can also clear group chat. Group chats contain the most photos, videos and chats, which is very important to delete from time to time.
