Organizations on Friday postponed the strike after receiving positive commitments on their demands from the Finance Ministry and the IBA ie Indian Banks Association.
Let me tell you that according to the schedule to be decided by the organizations, 2 days of nationwide strike was announced in banks across the country on Monday and Tuesday. The strike was called by the United Forum of Bank Unions, an organization of 9 bank employees unions, on 24 and 25 March.

The decision to postpone the proposed strike has been mainly taken before the Labor Commissioner, who called all the parties for reconciliation meeting. The UFBU had also demanded immediate withdrawal of recent orders of the Financial Services Department, ie DFS, on the PLI, by reviewing the performance of the employees. Banks could be closed for 4 days
