Under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, gas cylinder refills will be distributed to 1.86 crore eligible families of Uttar Pradesh with an amount of 1890 crores. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath started it in a program organized at Lok Bhavan in Lucknow. On this occasion, he said that in the previous governments, neither connections nor cylinders were available. Today our government is providing free cylinders to 1.86 crore beneficiaries. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna and Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak and Minister Satish Sharma also expressed their views in the program.
Free LPG cylinders to women beneficiaries
Under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, free LPG cylinders were given to women beneficiaries. After this, the BJP had promised to give free cylinder refill to these beneficiaries on Diwali and Holi in its election manifesto. Last year on Diwali, Yogi Adityanath's government fulfilled it and distributed cylinders. Now refill cylinders will also be given on the festival of Holi. There are more than 1.86 crore beneficiaries of Ujjwala Yojana in the state who can take advantage of it. Let us tell you that on Monday, 19 important proposals were approved in the Yogi Cabinet meeting. Earlier in 2023, the Yogi government had also given free cylinders to the beneficiaries of Ujjwala Yojana on the occasion of Holi. Under this, 1.75 crore beneficiaries were given its benefit by the Uttar Pradesh government.
