We are saying this because RBI has released the list of banks remaining closed in the month of February. Let us tell you that there are regional holidays on different days in every state. Apart from national holidays, bank work may also get affected due to bank closure. During this period, customers get facilities like ATM, mobile banking and net banking. According to different states, you can know here the list to which days the banks will remain closed.
A calendar to bank holidays is issued every month by the Reserve Bank of India. According to this list released by RBI, banks are going to remain closed for a total of 14 days. Banks are going to remain closed in Agartala on Monday, February 3, on the occasion of Saraswati Puja.
Banks will remain closed on 8th February as it is second Saturday and on 9th February as it is Sunday.
Chennai banks will remain closed on Tuesday, February 11, on the occasion of Thai Poosam.
Banks are going to remain closed in Shimla on Wednesday, 12th February, on the occasion of Shri Ravidas Jayanti.
Banks are going to remain closed in Imphal on the occasion of Lui-Ngai-Ni on Saturday, 15th February.
Banks will remain closed on 16th February as it is Sunday.
Banks will remain closed in Aizawl and Itanagar on Thursday, 20 February due to Statehood Day.
Banks will remain closed on 22nd February as it will be Fourth Saturday and on 23rd February as it will be Sunday.
Due to the festival of Mahashivratri on 26th February, banks are going to remain closed in almost every city.
Banks are going to remain closed in Gangtok on 28th February due to Losar.
