Bank of Baroda changed its credit card policy, put these conditions before the users

New Delhi: If you are a Bank of Baroda (BoB) customer and use your credit card to avail airport lounge access. So let us tell you that you are going to get a big shock after hearing the policy of BoB. Bank of Baroda has made major changes in its credit card rules, which will be effective from January 1, 2025.

These conditions under the new rules

The bank has set a limit on credit card spend for free lounge access at domestic airports. Now it will be mandatory for cardholders to spend Rs 20,000 to Rs 40,000 in the previous calendar quarter. Only then will they get the benefit of free lounge access.

This many lounge access will be available in one quarter

Eterna, Eterna FD, Tiara, Varunah Premium: Unlimited lounge access will be available at a cost of Rs 40,000. ICAI Exclusive, ICMAI One, ICSI Diamond: You will get lounge access 3 times at a cost of Rs 40,000. Varunah Plus, Sentinel, Rakshamah, Yoddha, Corporate: You will get lounge access 2 to 3 times after spending Rs 20,000. Premier, HPCL: You will get lounge access only once for Rs 20,000.

Benefit of discount on new card

The bank has given relief to new card holders. This minimum spend requirement for the first calendar quarter will not be applicable on newly issued credit cards from January 1, 2025. However, this discount is only for new cards and will not be applicable on upgraded cards. This decision of the bank is to link the airport lounge access facility with the expenditure. If you use BoB credit card, plan your expenses keeping the rules in mind. Let us tell you that the bank has published this change on its official website and informed the customers.
