Women Fraud Case in Balod: A big news of fraud has come out from Balod district of Chhattisgarh. Thousands of women from more than 95 villages of the district have become victims of fraud. These women have been cheated of crores of rupees in the name of loan. More than 100 women of Kinargondi have complained about this matter in Gurur police station. The women told in their written complaint that a person named Kholbahara of Saptarishi Sansthan, acting as an agent, has taken out loans ranging from Rs 30 thousand to Rs 2 lakh in the name of women of Gurur area (Bank Loan Scam with Women) and by giving only three to five thousand rupees to those women, saying that the rest of the loan amount will be paid to the bank in installments, after paying the installment amount for a few months, the installment was not deposited in the bank.
Fraud happens under syndicate
It is being told that a person named Khorbahara runs a syndicate. A woman named Sarita Kariyam is also involved in this, who took out loans from Micro Finance Bank from Rs 30,000 to Rs 2 lakh in the name of innocent women by luring them with a commission of Rs 4 to 5 thousand. Then he gave Rs 3 to 5 thousand to the concerned woman and kept the rest of the money for himself by telling her to pay the installment. In this way, more than 100 women of village Naragaon and Kinargodi of Gurur police station area have been cheated of more than Rs 35 crore.

However, after the case of cheating women came to light, Gurur police has taken the accused into custody and is interrogating them. Gurur police station in-charge said that about 86 women from Naragaon had come to them with a complaint that a woman and another person from their village misled them and took out loans from the bank and kept the money for themselves.
