It has been claimed that the massive instant messaging service WhatsApp, which is owned by Meta, is launching a new feature that will let users easily read and manage their draft messages from the conversations list. WhatsApp is getting ready to roll out the functionality for Android users; it was previously exclusive to the desktop client.

“WhatsApp plans to provide Android users the same option as it offers for iOS users to see drafts from the conversations list. We learned that WhatsApp is introducing a message draft function for conversations thanks to the most recent WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.20.24 upgrade, which is accessible on the Google Play Store.”
A website that monitors WhatsApp, WABetaInfo, said.
According to the article, users would no longer have to open each chat window separately to see whether they have any unfinished messages. Any conversation that has an unfinished message will have a draft label next to the message content if your account has the capability enabled.
Type a message in any discussion without sending it, then go back to the conversations list and check whether the draft label is next to the message to determine if the functionality is present on your account.
According to WABetaInfo, this feature is especially helpful as it lets users maintain track of unfinished discussions without having to open each one separately. It used to be incredibly laborious for users to manually go through each chat to determine whether they had left any messages unanswered.
“With the introduction of the draft label, any chat containing an incomplete message is marked directly in the chat list, making it easier for users to identify them,” according to the article.
Some beta testers who install the most recent versions of WhatsApp beta for Android from the Google Play Store may access a message draft function for the conversations list. The article states that over the next several days, it is anticipated to be pushed out to even more individuals.
