SBI Small Cap Fund has given investors making lump sum investments an annual return of 26.24% in the last 10 years and an absolute return of 930%. At this rate of return over a period of 10 years, an investment of Rs 1 lakh would have become more than Rs 10 lakh. SIP investors in this scheme have got 25% annual return in the last 10 years. A SIP of Rs 10,000 in this scheme would have become more than Rs 45 lakh in the last 10 years. SBI Small Cap Fund has given investors more than 30% annual return on lump sum investments in the last 5 years. The return in this small cap scheme has been 25% in three years and more than 45% in the last 1 year.
SBI Contra Fund – Direct Plan – Growth
SBI Contra Fund – Direct Plan – Growth has given an annual return of 19.23% in the last 10 years, making a lump sum investment of Rs 1 lakh into Rs 5.81 lakh. The absolute return of the fund in the last 10 years was 482%. Similarly, a SIP of Rs 10,000 started 10 years ago would have grown to over Rs 40 lakh, giving a 23% annual return. If we look at the returns of the fund for 5 years, 3 years and 1 year, it has given 31%, 30% and 49% returns respectively.
SBI Large and Midcap Fund – Direct Plan
SBI Large and Midcap Fund has given an annual return of over 20 per cent in 10 years to those who invested lump sum in this scheme. Those who invested Rs 1 lakh then would now earn Rs 5.28 lakh. The 10-year SIP return has been 19.54 per cent annually. With this rate of return for SIP, those who deposit Rs 10,000 every month would now sit with a corpus of Rs 33.59 lakh. The 5-year return of the fund has been 23% and the 3-year return has been 22%. The scheme has grown by 38% in the last one year.
