Ludhiana News: Three persons killed their friend by slitting his throat on Sua Road in Baddewal village of Ludhiana, threw the body in an empty plot and escaped. The police of Sarabha Nagar police station reached the spot and started an investigation. The reason for the murder is yet to be known.
The deceased has been identified as 26-year-old Vikas Kumar, a resident of village Barewal, who was a labourer. Sarabha Nagar police have registered a case against his three friends Suraj Kumar, Manoj Sahni and Ajay Sahni. A case has been registered on the statement of the deceased's brother Biku Kumar. The complainant said that his brother was a painter. When he did not reach home till 10.30 pm, they started looking for him. Biku Kumar said that when he reached Sua Road in Badewal village, he saw that three persons were beating his brother.

Manoj and Ajay were holding his brother's hands while Suraj attacked him with sharp weapons. When he shouted, the accused fled from the spot leaving his brother in a pool of blood. He called his family members and took Vikas to the hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. The cause of death of the deceased will be revealed today from the post-mortem.
ASI Subhash Raj said that the police have registered a case against the accused under sections 302 (murder) and 34 (acts done by several persons with common intention) of the IPC. A raid is being conducted to arrest them. ASI said that the family has no clue about the reason behind this brutal murder. The reasons will be known only after the arrest of the accused.
