Punjab PTI Vacancy 2026: The Punjab School Education Recruitment Directorate issued the notification for the Punjab PTI Recruitment 2026 on July 31, 2026. Under this recruitment drive, a total of 2,000 posts for Physical Training Instructors (PTI) in the primary cadre will be filled.

Candidates aged between 18 and 37 years are eligible to apply for this recruitment. Candidates must have passed the 12th standard and possess a two-year diploma/certificate in Physical Education (DPED/CPED) or an equivalent qualification. The application process will run from August 1 to August 31, 2026.

Who can apply?
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 12th standard for the Punjab PTI Recruitment 2026. Additionally, they must possess a two-year diploma/certificate in Physical Education (DPED/CPED) or an equivalent qualification. Candidates currently in the final year of their DPED/CPED course may also apply, provided they complete their diploma before the final recruitment merit list is released.

Age Limit: For the Punjab PTI Recruitment 2026, the candidates' age will be calculated as of January 1, 2026. Candidates must be between 18 and 37 years of age. Age relaxation will be granted to candidates from reserved categories in accordance with government regulations.

View category-wise application fees
For the Punjab PTI Recruitment 2026, candidates belonging to the General and other categories are required to pay an application processing fee of ₹2,000. The fee is set at ₹1,000 for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories. No application fee will be charged to Ex-Servicemen candidates.

What is the salary?
Candidates selected for the Punjab PTI Recruitment 2026 will receive a fixed monthly salary of ₹29,200 during the probation period. No other allowances will be applicable during this time. The probation period for candidates will be 3 years.
