
New Delhi, May 28 (Tezzbuzz). The State Bank of India (SBI) has projected the country's economic growth rate to be 7.4 percent in the fourth quarter (January-March) of the financial year 2023-24. SBI has said that the gross domestic product (GDP) will be 8 percent in the financial year ending March 31.
According to a report released by SBI Research on Tuesday, India's GDP is expected to be 7.4 percent in the fourth quarter of FY 2023-24, while the overall GDP growth is expected to reach 8 percent in the entire financial year. The National Statistical Office (NSO) will release the provisional estimate of GDP figures for the fourth quarter for the financial year 2023-24 on 31 May.
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has projected real GDP growth at 7.3 per cent in the fourth quarter of FY2023-24 and 7.6 per cent in the full fiscal year. Chief Economic Adviser V Anantha Nageswaran had also said that India's economic growth rate is likely to reach 8 per cent in FY2023-24.
