SBI Special FD Scheme: The country's largest government bank is giving the benefit of higher interest on FD (SBI FD) to its customers, but you can avail of this benefit only till March 31. 
 

State Bank of India: SBI provides many special facilities to its customers. The country's largest government bank is giving the benefit of higher interest on FD (SBI FD) to its customers, but you can avail this benefit only till March 31. You can avail the benefit of SBI's Amrit Kalash Scheme and SBI Wecare Scheme only till the 31st. If you have not yet invested money in this scheme, then there is still a chance. In these schemes, you get the benefit of more than 7 percent interest.

 

SBI Amrit Kalash Scheme
State Bank of India provides special FD facility to its customers. The name of this FD is Amrit Kalash. The last date to invest in it is 31st March. In this scheme, interest is given at the rate of 7.10 percent on FD of 400 days. Return is also guaranteed in this. In this scheme, interest money is given only when the fixed deposit is matured. Suppose you have made a fixed deposit for 400 days and withdraw the money before that, then on withdrawing the deposited amount, 0.50 to 1 percent of the amount is deducted as interest penalty. 


 

 

SBI We Care FD Scheme

WeCare scheme is being provided by State Bank of India, but you can avail its benefits only till March 31. SBI customers are getting the benefit of higher interest on WeCare FD. In this scheme of SBI, interest is being given at the rate of 7.50 percent. 

This is a kind of domestic term deposit scheme, in which you can invest less than Rs 2 crore for a minimum period of 5 years and a maximum period of 10 years. You also get the facility of loan on this scheme. Along with this, the benefit of interest is available on maturity. 



 

The scheme was launched in May 2020

SBI WeCare Senior Citizen FD Scheme was launched in May 2020, which has been extended several times since then. SBI had launched a special FD scheme with the aim of providing higher interest to senior citizens on their fixed deposits.
