There is a possibility of strong wind at the speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour, light rain and lightning at some places. People have been advised to remain alert during bad weather.
Weather will continue to change for the next 72 hours
According to the Meteorological Department, there may be yellow alert in almost half of Bihar on September 15. Apart from many districts of Seemanchal, there is a possibility of light rain in North Bihar and south-eastern parts. On September 16, the effect of rain and strong winds can be seen in most of the districts. However, the weather is expected to be relatively normal in Buxar, Bhojpur, Arwal, Aurangabad, Rohtas and Kaimur.
Rainfall was less than normal
Bihar has recorded less than normal rainfall during this period. According to meteorologists, the low pressure area over central India and the position of the monsoon trough are affecting the weather of the state. For this reason, rainfall has been limited in many areas.
In the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature recorded in Bhabua of Kaimur was 37.9 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature in Forbesganj of Araria was 24.4 degrees. At present, it is humid and hot in Patna, however, the weather may change due to sudden strong wind or light rain at the local level.
