Amidst the extremely sensitive and rapidly changing geopolitical equations of the Middle East, such a shocking and sensational news has come to light, which has created a stir in the diplomatic corridors of the entire world. A huge strategic agreement is brewing internally between Saudi Arabia, the most powerful country of the Gulf countries, and Israel, the Jewish country, which has been considered a staunch enemy for a long time. According to recent intelligence reports, after being allegedly betrayed by Pakistan behind its back on the issue of Yemen crisis and Houthi rebels, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) has now taken refuge in Israel in a historic step to save his national security. Riyadh has requested Israel for military and intelligence help to destroy the dreadful threats of Houthis continuously looming over the Red Sea and its oil reserves, which has completely overturned all the old equations of global politics. Until recently, Saudi Arabia largely relied blindly on Pakistan and other traditional Muslim allies for its regional security and military equipment. But recently, when Yemen's Iran-backed Houthi rebels were continuously targeting Saudi Arabia's important oil installations and cities, the dual diplomacy and non-cooperative stance adopted by Pakistan behind the scenes shocked the rulers of Riyadh. The Saudi leadership realized that at the time of the crisis, the countries which they considered their staunch Islamic brothers were withdrawing from protecting them due to domestic politics or other compulsions. Due to this diplomatic isolation and breakdown of trust, Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince MBS had to set aside his traditional priorities and look towards countries which currently have modern military technology and accurate intelligence information. Israel is the only country in the world whose intelligence agency 'Mossad' and modern missile defense systems (like Iron Dome and Arrow system) are recognized by the whole world. The way Houthi rebels are destroying the sea routes of Saudi Arabia and the Red Sea by using advanced types of drones and ballistic missiles, conventional weapons were not working. Saudi Arabia now understands that if it wants to save its economy and oil infrastructure, it will have to acquire the world's best anti-drone and radar technology, which is available only to Israel. This is why a round of high-level talks has started between the two countries through intelligence channels, where Israel is considering providing technical assistance to Saudi Arabia to find the exact location of the Houthis' bases and destroy them in the air. Although diplomatic relations have not yet been formally established between Saudi Arabia and Israel, after the 'Abraham Accords' the ground for informal and strategic cooperation between the two countries in the Middle East had been prepared. Strategic shocks from countries like Pakistan have further accelerated this process. Quoting the media of Gulf countries and international intelligence sources, it is coming to light that several rounds of secret meetings have taken place between Saudi and Israeli military officials at a secret place in the Gulf, in which a blueprint has been prepared to destroy the command centers of Houthi rebels as part of a joint operation. It was not easy for Saudi Arabia to take this step because there is always a fear of reaction from the domestic public and the Islamic world, but Riyadh has now started giving priority to pragmatic diplomacy over the country's sovereignty and economic security. This growing closeness between Saudi Arabia and Israel is no less than a major blow for Iran and its regional proxy organizations (such as Houthi, Hezbollah and Hamas). Iran, which till now thought that Saudi Arabia could never get close to Israel on the issues of mutual differences between Islamic countries and Palestine, has now completely shattered its illusion. Additionally, this entire incident has dealt a huge blow to Pakistan's regional relevance, because the country which was once the contractor of the Gulf's security, has today been marginalized due to its own unreliability. If this security alliance of Saudi Arabia and Israel formally comes into existence in the coming days, then the map of the Middle East and its geopolitics will change forever, the impact of which will be clearly visible on the energy security and trade routes of the entire world including India.
