The forecast indicates that as many as 23 states could experience spells of rain and thunderstorms. Some areas may also witness very strong surface winds, with speeds potentially reaching 80-85 kmph. The maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to remain around 32°C, while the minimum could hover near 26°C.

Lucknow may also see rainy and stormy conditions. The maximum temperature is expected to remain close to 32°C, with the minimum at around 26°C.

Rajasthan Weather: Jaipur, Kota, Ajmer and Other Districts on Alert

Rajasthan could also experience another spell of active weather. Several districts may receive rain accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds.

Ajmer, Bharatpur, Udaipur, Jaipur, Bhilwara, Sawai Madhopur, Baran, Kota, Pali and Bikaner are among the areas mentioned in the forecast.

Wind speeds in some parts of Rajasthan could reach around 60-70 kmph during stronger thunderstorm activity.

Jaipur is expected to record a maximum temperature of approximately 31°C and a minimum of around 25°C, with rain and gusty winds possible.

Heavy Rain Could Create Problems in Hills and Low-Lying Areas

People in Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha should also remain attentive to changing weather conditions.

Persistent or intense rainfall can increase the possibility of waterlogging in low-lying urban areas. In hilly regions, prolonged heavy rain can raise the risk of landslides, falling rocks and disruption on vulnerable roads.
