New Delhi, 04 September 2026: For the first time, India will organize the 'Hyundai World Archery Para Series' from September 5 to 9 at Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad, in which more than 100 players from 20 countries will participate. This competition is the third phase of the 2026 series. The previous competitions were held in Bangkok and Nove Mesto from 30 June to 4 July, while the fourth and final stage is to be held in Santiago, Chile in October.
Organized by the Archery Association of India in collaboration with the Government of Gujarat, Sports Authority of Gujarat and Sports Authority of India, this competition will include recurve open, compound open, W1 and visually impaired categories.
India, China, Great Britain, France, Germany, Hungary, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Slovakia, USA, Uzbekistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cyprus, Czechia, Iraq, Russia and Sri Lanka are participating in this competition. The competition will be formally inaugurated on 4th September.
