Goa Free LPG: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has announced that the state government will provide three free LPG cylinders annually to beneficiaries in Goa. To facilitate this, a sum of ₹3,000 will be deposited directly into the beneficiaries' bank accounts every year, starting from September 9. He stated that application forms to avail the benefits of this scheme would be available at panchayat offices and the offices of MLAs starting September 5. The CM mentioned that the disbursement of this amount would commence on September 9, 2026.

Addressing an event in Panaji, the Chief Minister said that this scheme is part of the promise he made during the 2022 state assembly elections. At that time, he had assured the public that three free LPG cylinders would be provided annually. Sawant said, "From September 9, ₹3,000 will start being deposited into the beneficiaries' bank accounts every year. With this financial assistance, eligible beneficiaries will be able to cover the cost of purchasing three LPG cylinders under the scheme."

He explained that any Goa resident who fills out the application form and submits the necessary documents will start receiving this amount in their bank account. Sawant also stated that to avail the scheme's benefits, beneficiaries would need to submit copies of their bank passbook, Aadhaar card, and Voter ID card.

At an event held in Panaji, the Chief Minister stated that eligible beneficiaries under the scheme would start receiving financial assistance of ₹3,000 annually in their bank accounts from September 9. Beneficiaries will be able to use this amount to cover the cost of three LPG cylinders. He said that those who fill out the application form and submit the required documents will receive the scheme's funds directly in their bank accounts.
