If there are problems like discord and tension between husband and wife, then on the birthday of Shri Krishna, sit near Tulsi and meditate on Shri Krishna and Radha Rani. Offer wedding material and pray for happiness and peace in life.
Keep these things in mind on the day of Shri Krishna Janmashtami
Do not pluck basil leaves on the day of Janmashtami, pluck them beforehand and keep them for puja.
One should not touch the Tulsi plant without bathing.
Do not keep dirt, broom, mop, shoes, slippers around Tulsi.
While offering Tulsi to God, use clean and whole leaves.
