Talking about the specifications and features of Redmi 17 5G, the device has a 6.9-inch (17.53cm) HD panel, which has AdaptiveSync refresh rate of up to 120Hz and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The display bezels in this device are also thinner than before. The display has received TÜV Rhineland low blue light, flicker-free and circadian friendly certifications. For audio, this smartphone has dual stereo speakers that support up to 300% volume boost.

The new Redmi 17 5G has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processor. The smartphone runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 3 and also features Xiaomi HyperIsland. The company also claims that the device will provide a 'like new' software experience for 48 months. It has a large 7,900mAh battery, which supports 45W turbo charging and up to 22.5W wired reverse charging.

For photography, a 50MP AI dual-camera system has been provided at the rear of the smartphone. The smartphone also supports dual-video recording, allowing users to record from the front and rear cameras at the same time. Talking about its design, the device has an 'Astral Metal Deco' camera module with dynamic RGB camera-ring light. It has eight RGB backlight colors and can provide information about notifications, charging status, gaming effects and camera activity.

Price: Talking about the price and availability of the phone, Redmi 17 5G has been introduced in the Indian market in Eternal Orange, Endless Blue and Absolute Black color options. Its 6GB/128GB memory configuration is priced at ₹23,999, while the 8GB/128GB variant is priced at ₹26,999. This smartphone will be available for purchase on Amazon India, Xiaomi India's official website and other major retail stores from 12 noon (IST) on September 10, 2026.
