Food Department informed that Pape Nutrition located at Palda, 360/1 Udyog Nagar, Palda, Indore was inspected by a joint team. During investigation, when sugar was found stored in excess of the prescribed stock limit, 375 quintals of sugar was seized from the spot. Documents and stocks to the partners of the establishment are also being examined.

In the same sequence, the warehouses of sugar dealers located in Palda area were also inspected by the Food Department team. During investigation, 2820 quintals were found in Akash Enterprises, 2885 quintals in Prateek Traders, 2378 quintals in Raj Traders, 2600 quintals in Ashok Enterprises, 2578 quintals in Sarthak Enterprises, 1595 quintals in Kashish Enterprises, 1580 quintals in Ghanshyam Das Anandram Bahrari Trades, Kriti Trading. Stock of 3813 quintals of sugar was found in Palda and 1641 quintals of sugar was found in Swastik Enterprises.

During investigation, the stock of sugar at all the above mentioned dealers was found to be within the stock limit of 4000 quintals set by the Government of India and the State Government. Under the provisions of Sugar Control Order-2026, the food department is continuously monitoring the stock and storage of sugar in the district. If stock is found exceeding the prescribed limit, action will be taken as per rules.

Harsh Clinic sealed after death of minor girl during treatment

At the same time, action has been taken by the health and police administration in the case of death of 10-year-old girl Divyanshi Solanki during treatment at Harsh Clinic located at Khatiwala Tank under Juni Indore police station area of ​​Indore. On the basis of the complaint submitted by the family, the concerned clinic has been sealed.

Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Madhav Prasad Hasani said on Wednesday that 10-year-old girl Divyanshi Solanki died during treatment at Harsh Clinic. On the basis of the complaint received in the case, the Health Department took necessary action and sealed the concerned clinic.

Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Hasani has directed Juni Indore police station in-charge that keeping in mind the seriousness of the case and public health, no medical activity of any kind should be allowed to be conducted in the said clinic until the investigation is completed. He has also clarified that if in future the said clinic is found to be operating without statutory permission or valid registration, then action will be taken against the concerned as per rules. The Health Department is investigating the matter and taking further action as per rules.

Out of 8 samples taken from Sayaji Hotel, 2 were found unsafe and 3 sub-standard.

The investigation report of food samples taken earlier by the Food Safety Administration from Sayaji Hotel, Indore was received on Wednesday. According to the report received, 3 samples of Paneer, Sanya Medium Fat Paneer and Kopra Bura were found sub-standard, while 2 samples of Pistachio clippings and Groundnut kernels were found unsafe. Whereas 3 samples of roasted chana dal, fine fennel and celery cookies were found to be of standard standard. Thus, out of total 8 samples taken from Sayaji Hotel, 2 samples were found to be unsafe, 3 samples were found to be sub-standard and 3 samples were found to be of standard level.

Ghee samples taken from Duggu Enterprises and Krish Enterprises are unsafe

In the test report of ghee samples taken from Duggu Enterprises, Talawali Chanda, Indore, 05 samples of Shrimool Ghee, 02 samples of Gausant Ghee, 01 sample of Goomar Ghee and 01 sample of Shri Shuddh Ghee – all the samples have been found unsafe. Similarly, 07 samples of Vastu Ghee taken from Krish Enterprises, Lasudia Mori, Indore have also been found unsafe.

On the basis of the investigation reports received, advance legal action will be taken against the concerned food businessmen as per the provisions of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 and the rules made thereunder.
