Divyanshi Jain and Aashi Shah advanced to the Girls’ U-13 final of the 49th Bombay Gymkhana Maharashtra State Open Squash Tournament in Mumbai. Divyanshi beat Shananya Parasrampuria 14-12, 11-4, 11-6, while Aashi defeated Shanaya Roy 11-5, 11-3, 9-11, 11-8, 11-5.
Mumbai, September 2, 2026: Second seed Divyanshi Jain staved off the challenge from Shananya Parasrampuria, romping to a 14-12, 11-4, 11-6 win in a Girls’ U-13 semi-final match of the 49th Bombay Gymkhana Maharashtra State Open Squash Tournament 2026, played at the Bombay Gymkhana courts on Wednesday.
In the second semi-final, top seed Aashi Shah encountered strong resistance from Shanaya Roy before managing to pull through by registering an 11-5, 11-3, 9-11, 11-8, 11-5 victory.
