TVS Motor Company has renewed its partnership with Cambodian Premier League club Angkor Tiger FC for the 2026-27 season, extending a collaboration that began in 2024.

The renewal marks three consecutive seasons of partnership between the Indian automotive company and the Siem Reap-based football club. TVS has been one of Angkor Tiger’s sponsors, with its branding appearing on the club’s match jerseys.

The partnership will continue into the new Cambodian Premier League season, which begins on September 5, with Angkor Tiger opening its campaign against MOI Kompong Dewa FC.

An Indian connection in Cambodia

Angkor Tiger FC is based in Siem Reap and plays its home matches at the Akihiro Kato Stadium. The club has an Indian connection through SkaSports Investments, led by Rohit Ramesh and Sudhir Menon, which acquired a minority stake in Angkor Tiger in 2023.

The investment has also contributed to the development of the club’s sporting infrastructure. The Akihiro Kato Stadium was developed through a reported $2 million investment involving SkaSports, giving Angkor Tiger a dedicated home venue in Siem Reap.

The relationship between TVS and Angkor Tiger has also extended beyond conventional sponsorship. During the previous season, TVS supported the club with utility vehicles, including the TVS Kargo King 225cc auto, for its stadium and training operations.

The partnership has also generated commercial visibility for the brand through the club’s merchandise, with Angkor Tiger’s official shirts carrying the TVS logo.

Angkor Tiger’s recent growth

The club enters the 2026-27 season after finishing third in the 2025-26 Cambodian Premier League campaign.

Angkor Tiger has also reported growth in its matchday business, with home-match attendance and ticket revenue increasing by 45% ahead of the new season.

The club’s growing profile comes alongside its efforts to develop football in Siem Reap and establish a sustainable sporting ecosystem around the team.

For TVS Motor Company, the renewed partnership continues its association with Cambodian football and provides an established platform for engaging with the local sporting audience.

The 2026-27 Cambodian Premier League season will feature 11 teams competing in a double round-robin format, with the top six progressing to the championship play-offs.

Angkor Tiger’s first match of the new campaign will be played on September 5 against MOI Kompong Dewa FC.
