The league stage of Uttar Pradesh T20 League 2026 has ended. Meerut Mavericks, Lucknow Falcons, Kashi Rudras and Noida Super Kings have qualified for the playoffs by being in the top-4 in the points table. Whereas the teams of Gorakhpur Lions and Kanpur Superstars could not make it to the playoffs. The playoff format of UP T20 League is similar to the Indian Premier League (IPL). Here too there will be two qualifiers and an eliminator.

The first qualifier will be played between Meerut Mavericks and Lucknow Falcons from 3 PM tomorrow (September 3). After this, the teams of Kashi Rudras and Noida Super Kings will face each other in the eliminator from 7:30 pm. The team that wins Qualifier 1 will directly advance to the final, while the losing team will face the winner of the Eliminator in Qualifier 2 on September 4. The winner of Qualifier 2 will be the second team to reach the final. The title match will be played on 6 September. Karan Sharma – 23 lakhs

Experienced leg spinner Karn Sharma was the most expensive player in the UP T20 League 2026 auction. He was bought by Kanpur Superstars for Rs 23 lakh. However, Karna did not live up to the team's expectations. He could take only 3 wickets in 6 matches. His economy was 9.71. Karn retired from all forms of cricket midway through the season.

Shivam Chaudhary – 21 lakhs

Gorakhpur Lions had spent Rs 21 lakh on Shivam Chaudhary. Shivam could play only 5 games this season, in which he scored only 65 runs at a strike rate of 101.56. He could take only 1 wicket in bowling also. Gorakhpur Lions team could win only 3 out of 10 matches and stood fifth in the points table.

Shubham Gautam – 21.50 lakhs

Fast bowler Shubham Gautam was included in their team by Noida Super Kings for Rs 21.50 lakh. Shubham impressed with his stormy pace but due to team combination, he could play only 4 matches in the league stage, in which he took 3 wickets at an economy of 7.

Mohammad Sharim – 17.50 lakhs

Kashi Rudras had bid Rs 17.50 lakh for attacking batsman Mohammad Sharim. However, he was fielded in one match in the league stage, in which he could not even open the account after playing 3 balls.

Shiva Singh – 17.50 lakh

Left arm spin and useful lower order batsman Shiva Singh was bought by Noida Super Kings for Rs 17.50 lakh. Shiva has done wonders with both ball and bat. He is the bowler who has taken the most wickets for the team. Shiva has taken 14 wickets in 10 matches at an economy of 6.70. This also includes a hat-trick. Apart from this, he has scored 46 runs in 8 innings at a strike rate of 135.29.
