The redevelopment is expected to be completed by 2031, Singapore Land Group (SingLand) said in a statement Tuesday. The three hotels currently operating within the complex will remain open throughout the construction period, according to Channel News Asia.
Three new towers will be integrated with the existing Pan Pacific Singapore, Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay and Mandarin Oriental Singapore hotels, while the four-story Marina Square mall will undergo a major overhaul.

Once completed, the 9.2-hectare complex will combine residences, hotels, offices and retail with sports and wellness facilities, as well as arts and cultural spaces.
A 49-story residential tower standing more than 190 meters tall will house 204 luxury residences, including apartments and penthouses, according to The Business Times.
A separate 19-story mixed-use tower will include a 304-room hotel and about 13,000 square meters of premium Grade A office space.
Meanwhile, a 24-story serviced apartment building will offer 260 units overlooking Marina Bay and Bay East Garden.
SingLand CEO Jonathan Eu said the redevelopment presented an opportunity to reimagine Marina Square as a “more connected and compelling destination”.
“By adding residences, serviced apartments and workplaces alongside the existing hotels – and repositioning the mall around experience-led retail, sports, wellness and community – we are creating a new ecosystem where people can live, work, stay and connect,” he said.
The four-story Marina Square mall will undergo an asset enhancement initiative covering more than 76,000 square meters of gross floor area.
Its revamped retail mix will feature additional food and beverage outlets, sports, wellness and lifestyle concepts, along with landscaped and pet-friendly spaces.
SingLand said the mall would act as a link between the precinct’s hotels, offices, residences, serviced apartments and public areas.
Pedestrian connectivity will also be enhanced through features including a sheltered walkway and an elevated botanical loop linking the development to One Raffles Link, Millenia Walk, Suntec City and the upcoming NS Square.
The redevelopment will also feature a 6,500-square-meter public park built above Stamford Canal, with greenery, play areas and event spaces.
Marina Centre was completed in 1986 and was the first district developed within the broader Marina Bay area to combine offices, hotels and retail.
Before Marina Square mall closes next March, SingLand said it will continue organizing events and activities to support shopper traffic and retail sales.
The developer added that it is working with stakeholders to minimize disruption and maintain access to the three hotels during construction.
