Tezzbuzz Desk: There is no sign of any less problems for the Pakistan cricket team on the England tour. After losing the first two matches of the three-Test series, major changes have been made in the team. Meanwhile, the news of Pakistan captain Babar Azam's health deteriorating also increased the team's concern. According to Pakistani media reports, Babar had fever and he was also checked in the hospital. Doctors had advised him to take rest for at least three days. However, now Babar Azam himself has given an update on his health and said that he is fine now.
While giving information about his health in London, Babar Azam said that he is absolutely fine now. He said this when he was returning from Pakistan House in London. Due to this, Pakistan team and its fans have heaved a sigh of relief. Pakistan cricket team manager Naveed Akram Cheema had also already clarified that there is no need to panic about Babar's fever and he will soon recover from it. The Pakistan team is currently trailing 0-2 in the three-Test series against England. After losing two consecutive matches, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) decided to make major changes in the team. The board dropped seven players from the team, while five new players have been given a chance in their place. Along with the change in players, there has also been a reshuffle in the coaching staff.
Before the third Test, Pakistan Test team head coach Sarfaraz Ahmed and bowling coach Umar Gul have also been removed from their responsibility. In their place, white ball team coach Mike Hesson and bowling coach Ashley Noffke have been added to the team. Both the coaches have reached London and joined the team. In such a situation, Pakistan team will take the field in the third test with a new coaching setup. Amidst this whole incident, questions are also being raised on Babar Azam. According to reports, Babar's name could have also been included among the seven players who were dropped from the team by PCB in the middle of the series. However, he was not dropped from the team due to his captaincy responsibilities. Babar could not play in the first test due to injury. After this he made a comeback in the second Test played at Lord's, but his performance was not as expected.
Babar Azam could score only 14 runs in both the innings of the second test. In such a situation, before the third test, his fitness as well as his batting will be monitored. To remain in the series, Pakistan will have to win the third Test at any cost. In such a situation, Babar Azam's fitness is very important for the team. At present, Pakistan is relieved with Babar declaring himself fine, but before the third Test, the team management will have to take the final decision on his complete fitness and his role in the playing eleven.
