Indian rock band Euphoria has released its ninth studio album, Dhoomsday, bringing together artists from different musical backgrounds and languages.
The eight-track album features collaborations with Shalmali, Akriti Kakar, Dhanji, Abhay Jodhpurkar, Jyotsna Radhakrishnan and Kinshuk Sen. One of its most emotional highlights is the closing track which features the voice of late singer KK.
The album opens with Dhoomsday – The Prologue and takes listeners through a mix of musical styles and languages.
The tracklist includes Koi Naa featuring the Nazar Pandher Group, Tumse Mohabbat Hai with Shalmali, Tu Bewafa featuring Dhanji and the Malayalam track Ee Swapnangal (Dream Song) with Jyotsna Radhakrishnan.
Other songs on the album include Manmaani featuring Kinshuk Sen, Winner with Abhay Jodhpurkar and Jobab Dao, featuring Akriti Kakar.
The album concludes with Aapki Duaa, which brings together Euphoria and the late singer KK. The song combines KK’s familiar vocals with a new composition by the band, adding an emotional touch to the album’s final track.
With Dhoomsday, Euphoria explores different languages and musical influences while continuing to retain the sound that has defined the band’s journey in India’s independent music scene. Each collaboration brings a different flavour to the album, making it a mix of diverse voices and musical styles.
The album was recorded, mixed and mastered across several studios, including Abbey Road Studios in London, Euphoria’s own The Clinic in New Delhi and Island City Studios in Mumbai.
With its ninth studio album, Euphoria continues to explore new collaborations while building on its long-standing legacy in independent music. Dhoomsday is now available to stream across major music platforms.
