Bhopal. Leader of Opposition in Madhya Pradesh Assembly Umang Singhar fiercely targeted the government in the Mahila Congress program held in Indore on Sunday. During the discussion with the media, he sought answers from the government regarding youth unemployment, OBC reservation, Bhagirathpura contaminated water scandal and rising inflation. He said that the youth of the state today want jobs. Be it guest teachers or class-1 and class-2 teachers, everyone is worried.

The government has the ability to provide employment to the youth, but the BJP government is avoiding providing jobs and this is spoiling the future of the youth of the state. He said that now time has run out of BJP’s hands. There is young Hanuman and he has set fire to Lanka. Singhar cornered the government on the issue of OBC reservation and said that the government should explain why 13 percent of OBC posts have been held. The youth of the state are continuously troubled and are struggling for their rights and employment.

Counterattack on sugar statement

Countering Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya’s statement regarding sugar prices, Umang Singhar said, Kailash ji, do not eat sugar, but tell the public when sugar will become cheaper and when inflation will reduce. He said that the general public is continuously facing the brunt of inflation. Instead of making statements, the government should take concrete steps to provide relief to the public. Singhar said that he will raise the Bhagirathpura matter in the Assembly and demand the government to make the report public. This is not only the issue of Bhagirathpura, but the question of entire Indore is what kind of water is being given to the people. Merely blaming the officers is not enough in this case. Even leaders and public representatives cannot escape their responsibility. Action should be taken against all those who are guilty in the case.

Government should start registration of beloved sisters

State Congress Committee President Jitu Patwari targeted former Chief Minister and Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan. Said that the thread of Rakhi is of trust, not of election promises. Patwari said that the question is not only about old beloved sisters. Registration for new eligible sisters is also closed. Why were the doors of the scheme closed for those women whose age is now falling within the prescribed limit for the scheme? Does the government believe that the newly eligible sisters do not have financial needs? Is the respect and financial security of sisters limited only to elections for BJP?

Women’s economic needs are not determined by any election calendar. Women need constant financial support to run a family, children’s education, health and daily needs. In such a situation, keeping eligible women out of the scheme and stopping the registration of new eligible sisters shows the insensitivity of the government. He demanded that the government should immediately give Rs 3000 per month to the beloved sisters. The government should tell when it will start registration for new eligible sisters.
