Manchester United are close to completing the signing of Mexico defender Rebeca Bernal, according to reports.
The Red Devils are looking to strengthen their defence this summer following the departures of Millie Turner and Gabby George to Birmingham City and Brighton & Hove Albion respectively.
According to journalist Conner Roberts of The Cutback, United are now close to wrapping up a deal for Bernal.
The 29-year-old former Monterrey player is currently with NWSL club Washington Spirit, but she did not feature in last weekend's 1-0 home win over Bay FC.
Bernal has made 22 appearances for Washington Spirit so far in the 2026 season and has contributed three goals.
