US Flash Flood : More than 20 people are reported missing amid sudden floods in the Grand Canyon, Arizona, USA. Relief and rescue teams have so far rescued 62 people. The situation worsened due to sudden floods in Bright Angel Canyon and Phantom Ranch areas in Arizona on Saturday. Nearly all foot bridges over Bright Angel Creek have been washed away by strong flood flows, affecting traffic on many trails.

According to reports, park officials said that they are conducting rescue and evacuation operations in collaboration with the Arizona Department of Public Safety. Also, efforts are being made to find out whether all the people present in the affected area are safe or not.
Meanwhile, park authorities said that as of the morning of August 30, 62 people had been safely evacuated from Phantom Ranch and the Lower North Kaibab Trail area.
