There was chaos due to technical glitches during the NEET-PG 2026 examination on Sunday at an exam center in Sitapura, Jaipur. Students alleged that during the examination, computers were shutting down repeatedly due to power cuts, due to which they faced difficulty in solving questions. This exam was being held at iON Digital Zone Sitapura 2 in Jaipur. In view of this, the NEET-PG exam has been rescheduled.

According to the students, the exam was to start at 9 am, but it was delayed. He said that even after the commencement of the examination, the computers kept shutting down again and again. Some candidates claimed that their computers shut down six to seven times, while some said that they faced technical problems even more times.

Complaints of students came to light

According to students, after restarting the computer only a few questions appeared on many systems and then the computer shut down. Amidst the technical disruption, many candidates came out of the examination center and demonstrated against the arrangements. He alleged that no clear information was given by the center staff regarding the recurring technical problems.

Computers shut down after questions appeared on the screen

Candidates also raised questions regarding the confidentiality and fairness of the examination. He claimed that some computers were switched off after the questions appeared on their screens. The candidates demanded an impartial investigation into the technical glitch and ensure that no student has to suffer the consequences.

Adequate technical facilities were not provided

A candidate named Gunjan said that students pay huge fees for important exams like NEET-PG, but they were not provided adequate technical facilities for a smooth exam. Candidates said that many candidates have prepared for one to two years and such technical glitches can affect their future.

On receiving information about the demonstration, police and administration officials reached the examination center. Jaipur South Assistant Police Commissioner Lalit Sharma said police were present at the spot to maintain law and order amid the uproar.
