Russia attacks Kievna Bucha district, capital of Ukraine, 27 people killed

Kiev, 29 August 2026: Russia has launched a major attack in Bucha district near Ukraine's capital Kiev. At least 27 people have died in this attack. According to Timur Tkachenko, head of the local military administration, the massive fire caused by the Russian attack spread to nearby houses and a restaurant. At least 50 residential houses have been damaged in the attack.

Today is the third consecutive day of air strikes on Kiev. Due to these attacks, the economy of the Ukrainian capital has come to a standstill and the lives of ordinary people have been seriously disrupted. All this is happening after a large-scale attack by Russia on its neighboring country.

Attacks on the economies of nine cities of Ukraine including Kiev

Earlier, in the early morning, Russia had targeted nine cities including Ukraine's capital Kiev with missiles and drones. In these attacks, Russia especially targeted the economic infrastructure of Ukraine. Major targets included ports, warehouses, energy facilities and industrial units.

One person was killed and two people were injured in these attacks in Kharkiv. Russia used ballistic missiles, hypersonic missiles, cruise missiles and jet-powered drones in these attacks.
