Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on signing Iliman Ndiaye from Everton, and Richarlison could be used as part of the proposed deal.
As per journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Tottenham want to strengthen their attacking options by bringing in the 26-year-old Senegal international, with the Brazilian forward possibly being offered in exchange as part of the arrangement.
It is yet to be seen whether Everton would be open to re-signing Richarlison and allowing Ndiaye to move to Tottenham. The Senegal international has been highly impressive for Everton since arriving at the club, and he could prove to be a valuable addition for Tottenham. The North London side need greater quality in the wide attacking areas, and the Senegal forward could be an ideal fit. He is already well adapted to the Premier League and could make an instant impact at Tottenham.
Meanwhile, Richarlison has failed to truly impress at Tottenham and has also had to deal with injury problems since joining the club.
Richarlison is unlikely to enjoy regular game time at Tottenham this season, particularly after the arrival of Omar Marmoush. A return to his former club could work out well for him. He produced his best football in the Premier League during his time with Everton, and he could be a very useful attacking option for them.
It remains unclear whether the two clubs will be able to put together a deal that suits both sides. Deals involving a player plus cash are often complicated and not easy to complete.
Ndiaye is certain to find the prospect of joining a top club attractive this summer. Tottenham could offer him the chance to compete at the highest level and challenge for trophies. Ndiaye has also been linked with Manchester City.
