Located about 25 kilometers southeast of Duong Dong, Bai Sao ranked 12th on the list.

The beach is famed for its soft white sand and crystal-clear waters.

Starfish can also occasionally be seen along the shore and in the shallow waters, adding to its natural charm.

According to local residents, Bai Sao takes its name from the starfish found in the area.

The marine creatures have since become one of the beach’s signature features and a popular draw for visitors.

Phu Quoc, voted Asia’s most beautiful island by readers of Condé Nast Traveler, received 6.8 million tourists in the first seven months this year, up 30% year-on-year and meeting 80% of this year’s target.

The list of world’s 50 best beaches, now in its eighth year, is compiled based on factors such as official Blue Flag beach certifications, social media popularity, and recommendations from Big 7 Travel’s experts.

Seychelles’s Anse Source d’Argent claimed the top spot in the 2026 ranking. The travel publication praised the beach for its spectacular scenery, noting that almost every angle looks like a postcard.

The Philippines’s Entalula Beach ranked second. The secluded beach is accessible only by boat but has become a popular destination among travelers.

Indonesia’s Pink Beach on Komodo Island came third. Its distinctive pink sand is formed by red coral fragments mixing with the beach’s natural sand.
