UEFA has officially confirmed the complete fixture list for the Champions League league phase for the 2026/27 season. The opening eight matchdays are set to deliver high-profile contests right from the first week of the competition in September.
The tournament will begin from 8 to 10 September 2026. Among the headline fixtures on the opening matchday are Real Madrid against Inter Milan, Liverpool versus Atletico Madrid, and an eye-catching clash between Napoli and Arsenal.
Matchdays two and three will maintain the tournament’s intensity in October. On Tuesday, 13 October, Atletico Madrid will meet Manchester United in one of the standout ties, while matchday three includes major European rivalries such as Paris Saint-Germain against Barcelona and Bayern Munich versus Arsenal.
The pace will not slow in November across matchdays four and five. Fixtures including Barcelona hosting Aston Villa, Villarreal facing Paris Saint-Germain, and Manchester City taking on Napoli are expected to have a major bearing on the direct qualification places for the round of 16.
December and January will bring the decisive run of this opening phase. The marquee matches in this period include Barcelona against Manchester City on matchday six and Sporting CP against the Catalan side on matchday seven.
The league phase will conclude on 27 January 2027.
